Double Rhombus

Double Rhombus

The double rhombus gives a modern tight continuous line to a garden wall or façade. The advantage of this profile is that the wall is wind and waterproof, while retaining the lines of the design. The profile is available in different exclusive types of wood. The Siberian Larch is the most attractively priced of these types of wood. Then comes the Thermo Spruce which is ecologically improved for durability. These are on stock at Awood. The other types will be planed for you per project.

Siberian Larch

Siberian larch is a coniferous wood that comes from Siberia. Because of the climate, it has grown much slower than the native Larch.

This ensures that Larch wall parts are much harder and lighter in colour with smaller knots and very fine annual rings.

Like any kind of wood, it greys with time. As an alternative, to counteract this process, you can treat this type of wood yourself, using a natural-coloured wood oil.

Awood delivers the double rhombus Thermo Spruce and Siberian Larch from stock. Possible oiling can be done by the professional themselves. In damp and dark gardens, we advise to additionally protect the Siberian larch with an impregnation.

ThermoWood

The double rhombus Thermo Spruce is thermally treated spruce. Through this treatment, the cells have burst and the sugars have burned away. This has created a much less interesting environment for the mold that is latently present. The nutrient medium has changed and the cells can no longer absorb moisture. This makes Spruce more stable and more durable.

Lodge Pole Pine

Wood in durability improved grade 3 with two layers of paint on all six sides.

Available from stock in the Netherlands in this double rhombus. The secret to durable wall covering lies in the factory finishing in Canada, where the wood is optimally dried, preserved and dyed. After applying the second layer you get an attractive solid wood wall covering that is resistant to wind and weather, as a result. And for a very long time as well.

Warranty of more than 10 years on the paint finish with proper processing. The assembly is done with visible nailing.
